Snow Patrol news & community since 2008. Snow Patrol Donate Unique NI Jersey to East Belfast Home

xxxNorthern Irish rockers Snow Patrol have donated an NI jersey with a twist to an east Belfast residential home to raise funds.

The retro shirt has the band’s name emblazoned alongside the team’s name and was given to Towell House.

The jersey was handed over to one of the fundraisers for the home by Snow Patrol’s lead guitarist Nathan Connolly.

The proceeds raised from the generous act by the NI-supporting band will go towards maintaining a new sensory garden at the home, which caters for 84 residents.

Jill Brooker, General Manager at Towell House, thanked Nathan for the donation.

“He is very supportive of our charitable works here at Towell House,” she said.

“There is a history there, as one of the band members’ grandparents was a resident a number of years ago.

“We’re very grateful that they have done this for us.”
