Snow Patrol’s first album in seven years will be released this May, it has been revealed.
The members of the Northern Irish band, made up of Gary Lightbody , Nathan Connolly, Johnny McDaid and Jonny Quinn, have been lying low creating the follow up to Fallen Empires.
Lead singer Gary Lightbody made the exciting announcement on Monday evening by sharing a short video on Instagram and writing: “Our first album in 7 years is out in May. It’s called Wildness.”
Wildness will be released on May 25 but the band gave no other indication of any single release or what fans could expect.
The short video Gary released with the announcement seemed to show the Bangor man on a raft and only the sound of the ocean, a dial tone and a single chord could be heard.
