Snow Patrol news & community since 2008. Snow Patrol add extra Belfast date due to demand

Snow Patrol have added an extra Belfast date due to demand.

The band are back in the charts after seven years away with their album Wildness.Tickets for their tour went on sale today with a gig lined up at the SSE Arena in Belfast on December 7.

But due to demand, an extra date has been added for Saturday, December 8.Lead-singer and songwriter Gary Lightbody says of the album: “There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness. Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”

Tickets for the extra date are on sale now. Tickets from Ticketmaster Ireland and Box Office on 028 9073 9074
