Fresh off a national stadium run with Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol will return to the road next spring for a full-scale headlining tour.
The alternative rock outfit will kick off their 21-date North American jaunt with an April 18 show at South Side Ballroom in Dallas, TX, followed by stops in Austin, Nashville, Boston, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles and more.
It’s shaping as big year ahead for the Northern Irish/Scottish band, which is locked in for six international festivals in the early stages of 2019, including Lollapalooza dates in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and a 24-date headlining European tour, due to kick off next Wednesday (Dec. 5) at Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England.
Led by Gary Lightbody, Snow Patrol is supporting Wildness (Republic/Polydor), their first studio album in seven years. The new set peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard 200 and opened at No. 2 on the U.K. albums chart earlier this year, missing out on top spot by just 900 combined units. Their previous album, 2011’s Fallen Empires, reached No. 5 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the U.K.
